First and foremost, Regent Square is a community. All residents living in the square are expected to observe the rules contained in the leases, which apply to all properties on our site in London. You will find these summarised in the Residents Information Sheet issued to new residents when they move in, but the basic do’s and don’ts are listed below.

Parking

If you have a vehicle, you should only park in your designated parking space or garage. Your landlord or letting agent will tell you your designated number when you move in. If you don’t know your number or you require additional parking space, please contact a director of Eastways Management Ltd.

Please don’t park anywhere other than your designated space or garage. Certainly, do not park or wash or valet your vehicle in the central area of the square, as you might be blocking access for the emergency or utilities services. While in the central area, you may load or unload your vehicle.

Additionally, there are a small number of parking spaces for visitors. All visitors who park in the square are required to display a valid visitors’ parking permit for the duration of their stay. These permits come with the properties and should have been passed to you either by the previous owner or by your letting agent.

Noise and Anti-Social Behaviour

In a 24/7 society, you need to be especially considerate to your neighbours. Remember that they may keep different hours to you. To ensure that everyone is happy, please be as quiet as possible when departing or arriving at Regent Square, especially late at night or early in the morning. Don’t play loud music, chat loudly, or slam doors during these hours.

Security

Details of how to enter Regent Square are provided to residents on arrival. Security is an ongoing concern because the square is a gated community. Residents are asked to use their common sense to maintain security and report anything suspicious to the police.

Rubbish and Recycling

Rubbish collections are scheduled every week. It is your responsibility to keep your dustbin area clean and tidy. Please do not dispose of bulky items either in the bin sheds or in anywhere else in the square. You will be able to ring the council to arrange the collection of large items and you will find the contact number for this service on our Useful Information  page.

There are purple recycling bins in each of the communal dustbin sheds serving flats 1 – 36 and 61 – 84, and one black communal recycling bin serving flats 37 – 60. These bins are emptied weekly. Please do not dispose of normal household waste in the recycling bins.

Property Maintenance

Eastways Management Ltd has the right to inspect the interior of any property. Make sure you look after your flat and arrange for repairs promptly whenever required. Consult your landlord or letting agent for any repair work in your flat or contact one of our directors for general building maintenance needs, e.g. replacing the bulbs in the stairwells.

Redecoration takes place every four years, and it is your responsibility to redecorate the outside of your property, including your garage, when instructed by Eastways Management Ltd. You may not make any alterations to the outside of the property, including double-glazed windows or satellite dishes, without express permission from one of our directors.
